The audio of the tape will be corrected while the shift to mp3 or CD takes place. By improving the sound of the audio, the background noise is reduced. Once the cassette is digitized, noise filters are used to remove hissing and crackling sounds. The vocal levels of the cassette are elevated to permit a balancing of the audio level on the digitized file format.

When optimizing the audio levels, it reduces the other noises that are present. Once the digitization occurs, the noise reduction filters are added.
