AV Conversion Services can convert your old 8 mm, Super 8 or 16 mm films to a DVD, Bluray or a digital file which can be edited. The latest scanning machines are used in-house to do the film transfers. Some of the scanners we use can reproduce sound while, our newest RetroScan machines can scan silent film no matter the condition of its sprockets. At AV Conversion Services, we use the newest technology which allows us to define frames, correct color and detect any imperfections. Once your film is received, a cleaning and lubrication is completed in preparation for the next step. Looking for any damaged sections of the film and repairing them is the next step of our process. Frame by frame scanning makes a transfer that is flicker free and clear from edge to edge.
Almost all film color will change over time. With our in-house transfer process, corrections are made on the film contrast and brightness. Your new digital film will be analyzed for balance in color. CONVERT VHS TAPES TO MP4s
AV Conversion Services can turn your VHS, Hi 8, Camcorder, VHS-C and Mini DV video tapes into excellent quality MP4 files. These compatible MP4 files can be played or edited on most MAC and PC computers. Plus – they can be imported with today's software programs. CONVERT VINYL RECORDS, CDs or TAPES TO MP3
At AV Conversion Services we can convert your audio tapes and records to a CD disc, mp3 or other file format, preserving and restoring the sound. The audio of the tape will be corrected while the shift to mp3 or CD takes place. The background noise will diminish as the audio of the cassette is improved. Also, the filters with the digitized CD will reduce the hissing, humming or crackling. The vocal levels of the cassette tape are raised to allow a balancing of the audio level on the CD, mp3 or other file format.
