Once we get your film, we have to clean it, then lubricate it with an anti-static solvent. Inspection of the film for faulty splicing and other damage prepares the film for scanning. Using frame by frame scanning produces a transfer that is sharp and clear with no flickering segments.

With time, colors on a film will decline. With our in-house transfer Film Transfer, we'll correct any deviations in brightness or contrast. Analysis of color scene by scene is the next process. CONVERT VHS TAPES TO MP4s

AV Conversion Services can turn your VHS, Hi 8, Camcorder, VHS-C and Mini DV video tapes into excellent quality MP4 files. These compatible MP4 files can be played or edited on most MAC and PC computers. These MP4 files can be imported using most current software programs. This common day file type can be uploaded to youtube or facebook or even to smart TVs for prompt viewing.

After accepting your VHS, VHS-C, Camcorder and Hi 8 videos, we need to gather data to finish your request to your specifications. Each video tape is then numbered and digitalized into an MP4 file. We'll ship the files to you on a USB Flash Drive or Hard Drive when the order is completed. Once you've received them, the drive can be put into your computer and viewed, again and again.

CONVERT VINYL, CDs or CASSETTE TAPES TO MP3

At AV Conversion Services we can convert your audio tapes and records to a CD disc, mp3 or other file format, preserving and restoring the sound. The sound of the cassette will be improved during the transfer to CD or mp3. The background noise will diminish as the audio of the cassette is improved. When digitized, the noise filters applied will minimize any humming or crackling sounds still being heard. The vocal levels of the cassette tape are raised to balance out the audio level on the digitized file format – whether CD, mp3 or WAV.

AV Conversion Services is able to convert reel-to-reel tapes to digitized CDs reviving their sound. The sound of your reel-to-reel tapes will be renewed when they are changed to CDs. When the audio levels are optimized, the extraneous noises are reduced. Once the digitization occurs, the noise reduction filters are added. The noise filters eliminate any humming or hissing heard. Then the vocal level can be raised and balanced.
