Commercial scanning machines (our own) used in-house are applied to all film transfer jobs. Some HD machines which scan film are able to reproduce sound while the RetroScan machines scan any type of silent film regardless of torn sprocket holes. Since color changes over time, with our in-house transfer process, corrections are made on the film contrast and brightness. Your new digital film will be analyzed for balance in color. Our digital vector scope and other high quality machines enable us to improve and restore your 8mm, 16 mm and Super 8 films. Once we get your film, we have to clean it, then lubricate it with an anti-static solvent. Going through the film, checking for damaged areas, then making repairs that are necessary is next. CONVERT VHS CASSETTE TAPES TO MP4s

AV Conversion Services can transform your VHS, Hi 8, Camcorder, VHS-C and Mini DV video tapes to top notch qualityMP4 files. These compressed MP4 files can be played or edited on most computers. Plus, they can be imported with current software programs. This common digital file type can be transferred to media sharing sites or even to smart TVs for instant viewing.

After receiving your VHS, Camcorder, Hi 8 and other videos, we'll need to accumulate data to deliver the job to your specs. We number each video tape, then we digitize it into an MP4 file format. When the job is done, we'll send your files to you on a USB Flash Drive or Hard Drive. When you get the MP4 files, the drive can be inserted into your computer and viewed repeatedly, for years to come.

CONVERT RECORDS, CDs or TAPES TO MP3

At AV Conversion Services we can convert your audio tapes and records to a CD disc, mp3 or other file format, preserving and restoring the sound. With the conversion to CD or mp3, the audio will be greatly improved compared to your cassette or record. By improving the sound of the audio, the background noise is reduced. Once the cassette is digitized, noise filters are used to remove hissing and crackling sounds. The vocal levels of the cassette tape are raised to balance out the audio level on the digitized file format – whether CD, mp3 or WAV.

AV Conversion Services will transfer your special mini cassette tapes to CDs. While the tape is being transferred to CD, the audio sound is enhanced. Hissing, humming and popping sounds are then removed with high quality noise filters. We can also transfer your favorite LPs to CD and vinyl records to CD.
