AV Conversion Services can transfer audio tapes, vinyl records, reel to reel audio to a CD disc, mp3 or other file format – reviving their and preserving the sound. You'll notice that the sound of the mp3 or the CD will be greatly improved over the cassette or record. Once the sound level is improved, the other noises would be lessened. Once the cassette is digitized, noise filters are used to remove hissing and crackling sounds. The vocal levels of the cassette tape are increased so to balance out the audio level on the digital file format.

By optimizing the audio levels, reduction of noise is possible with reel-to-reel systems. Once the digitization occurs, the noise reduction filters are added. Since noise filters are used, there is less humming and hissing sounds. The volume level can then be balanced.
