AV Conversion Services can transfer 8mm film, Super 8 or 16 mm film to DVD, Bluray or a digital file for editing. We use the newest scanning technology for film transfers at our own location. Certain scanners are able to reproduce sound bites of the films while the RetroScan machines scan any type of silent film regardless of torn sprocket holes. Almost all film color will change over time. With our in-house transfer process, your film will benefit from correction in contrast and brightness. By adjusting brightness and contrast, clarity will emerge in your film. Extras we provide for free are some titles and free lubrication. As a result, your film will last for many years to be enjoyed on DVDs.
Our digital vector scope and other high quality machines enable us to improve and restore your 8mm, 16 mm and Super 8 films. On receiving your film, a technician will clean and apply an anti-static solvent to lubricate your film. The film is inspected and repairs are made to damaged sections or faulty splicing. Using frame by frame scanning produces a transfer that is flicker free and clear from edge to edge.

CONVERT VHS CASSETTES TO MP4s
AV Conversion Services will transfer your VHS, Hi 8, Camcorder VHS-C and Mini DV video tapes to be top quality MP4 files. These compatible MP4 files can be played or edited on most MAC and PC computers. Plus – they can be imported with today's software programs. This digital file type can be transferred to youtube or facebook or even to smart TVs for prompt viewing.
The equipment we use to transfer VHs or Camcorder videos to MP4 files is professional, commercial quality. Substantial improvement in the quality of your videos occurs when using our numerous machines and decks to produce your MP4 file. Additionally, we shift the videos to our computers to examine the audio levels as well as noise levels, adjust if necessary, so you'll be very satisfied with the results.
When we obtain your VHS, Camcorder, and HI 8 videos, we want to ask specific info to finish the project to your expectations. We'd number each tape then digitalize it into an MP4 file. CONVERT CDs, LPs, AUDIO TAPES TO MP3
AV Conversion Services can transfer audio tapes, vinyl records, reel to reel audio to a CD disc, mp3 or other file format – reviving their and preserving the sound. The audio of the tape will be corrected while the shift to mp3 or CD takes place. When the audio sound is improved, the other noises in the background are decreased. With a digitized cassette, noise filters are applied to take away any unwanted background sounds. The vocal levels of the cassette tape are raised to balance out the audio level on the digitized file format – whether CD, mp3 or WAV.
AV Conversion Services will move your reel-to-reel audio tapes to be first class CDs. The sound of your audio tapes will be improved during the transference to CD. When the audio levels are optimized, the extraneous noises are reduced. After digitization, noise reduction filters can be applied. The tapes are put through the noise filters to reduce any humming or hissing. Then the volume level can be balanced.
AV Conversion Services can make a CD from your mini cassette tapes for them to last longer. The tape would be digitized when converted to a CD while enhancing the audio recording. The removal of hissing or crackling sounds is possible when noise filters are applied after digitization. We're able to convert any vinyl record or LP to a CD disc for you.
