At AV Conversion Services we can convert your audio tapes and records to a CD disc, mp3 or other file format, preserving and restoring the sound. Your audio recordings will be enhanced during the transfer to CD or mp3. The background noise will diminish as the audio of the cassette is improved. When the cassette has been digitized, filters are aprovided to take away crackling and hissing sounds. Level optimization is used to expand the vocals to balance the complete audio level of the new digital file format.

When optimizing the audio levels, it reduces the other noises that are present. After digitization, noise reduction filters can be applied. The tapes are put through the noise filters to reduce any humming or hissing. Then the volume level can be balanced.
